~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Today I finally got my thumb splint
. To keep it short; my joints bend in ways they shouldn't, my hands have been hurting for over 20 years now, which led me to digital painting btw , putting force on a normal pencil just hurts too much but after a while even drawing with my tablet on the most sensitive option was too painfull. Last year I finally got splints for my fingers, but no one even looked at my thumbs. The finger splints already helped a lot, and today I finally got one for my thumb. It's such a relief already, and I really hope I can produce more art this art!So to celebrate/test out my 'new hand' I want to do a simple portrait and instead of just picking a random stock image or one of my personal models I thought why not give something back to my watchers

.What you will need to do:
- Comment on this journal linking a picture you made of your favourite horse, or maybe a cat, dog or other pet you. You can enter with up to 3 pictures.
- Picture must show the character of the animal, not just a pretty pose, I like to portrait them as they truly are.
- Quality of the picture doesn't matter, I prefer a great subject over a great looking picture. Size however needs to be at least 800px wide, but bigger is better in this case

Digital file in the size of the latest added portraits there, prints can be made available if you would like a physical copy but are not included with this giveaway.
Portrait will be used for promotional purposes (portfolio, advertisements), so keep that in mind when you send your pictures, if you don't want me to use the portrait of your picture in such a way don't enter .
Tomorrow morning I will choose the picture I like best and will use. I know it's last minute but maybe that will make it more fun and exiting too

I don't know if I'm too late (can never work out with times!) but some piccies anyway. This is my little Welsh pony Dimples. He's 19 now, but still just as crazy as ever! He often runs around the field while my 8 month old Fell watches him as if to say 'What on earth are you doing? Crazy fool!', I Dimples things HE is the foal
Dimples is rather naughty... or should I say unco-operative? He loves to run, but isn't keen on being ridden or lunged, or tied up, or having his feet done by the farrier. If he doesn't want to go somewhere, he wont. He will spook at things for the fun of it, and likes to headbutt people and scratch himself on them
Anyway, piccies.
This is an old pic, from when I was little & rode Dimples regularly so he was clipped. I've always loved it despite the rubble which ruins it

Love him to pieces, I've been ill this week & was really struggling to finish haying up & everything the other night, and he just came & nuzzled me & followed me round. He's a horror sometimes but he's a gem really
